You bet! I went to New York a few years ago with my Dad. ( We are from the South!) He gave up his seat for a lady and everyone thought he was an idiot for doing that. You should have seen the looks he got from the other passengers. He's a Gentleman.

We don't have public transportation in our small city, but when I lived in Los Angeles, I gave up my seat several times to other people.

Of course I offer up my seat. What really upsets me though is when some youngster offers their seat to me! I'm not that old yet!

i walk with a cane and will still give up my seat to an elderly person, a pregnant woman, a person with small children or someone handicapped.

no we don't have it , people in Egypt are the opposite , but sometimes I don't bother giving my seat to a hot girl just because she is hot , I only do it for old people , needy and mothers .
