You mean gel cell. They require special gel cell charger (slightly lower voltage).
Don't use regular wet cell (car charger). They can destroy the battery.

Get yourself a "Battery Tender" charger. It is fully automatic. Only charges battery when it senses a low voltage. and shuts off when fully charged.

Actually,
On gel cells, any trickle charger at or below 1.5A will work alright
Gel cells are a little less prone to sulphating, but are more sensitive to over charging.
