Since I am a Jew and I don't celebrate Christmas - it's just another day in Israel, I could very well be here.
However, I think your question is really mean-spirited. If Christmas is supposed to be your holiday of cheer, good will, peace and love for all, how are you promoting that holiday spirit?
It seems to me you should have some sympathy and empathy for people who are alone and don't have family and / or friends to celebrate with. Perhaps you are even one of them since you will be checking your answers, and should anyone care whether or not you are having a Merry Christmas?

A sad life comes in many wrapping papers.
I don't think taking out half an hour from the extended family and excessive eating to go on Answers is all bad....
I shall have to work over Christmas and I shall probably log on first thing in the morning as I do most days before checking the business emails.
Being the first one in at 6.15am I take it as my entitlement!
And now I shall definitely log in and wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!! Even you!

Why don't you try having a little empathy with them, my guess is that you are such a loser that it will be you logging on to see if anyone is as sad and lonely as you are.
Anyway not everyone celebrates Christmas, nor does everyone celebrate in the same way at the same time, so why shouldn't they be on here?

I'll get up, open me presents then go down me mate's house at about 10am and start drinking. We all usually have a couple of shots of whiskey, a couple of cans then go down the pub for a few pints. I then go home, have Christmas dinner with the family, have a nap, then go back up my mate's house later on where we have a good Christmas piss-up. I might pop on here, but not for long I got far more important stuff to do. ;-)

To me the most pathetic ones are the one that fill their time pointing out the patheticness in others.
My answer is rather pathetic maybe but hey ... i need some cheap and light entertainment.
Last year I proudly wore my BAH! HUMBUG christmas hat. This year I can't even be bothered with that ...
