I don’t trust women... most of you are backstabbers and shallow.... am I alone in thinking this?

You're not alone in thinking this, and I believe there are many men who feel the same way you do, they're just not as outspoken and straightforward in saying so. And to the women who answered above, if you were to carefully read his question, instead of snapping back with your emotionally charged answers, you would have noticed he did not say "all women" or "every woman". He said "MOST".

I think the most effective way to avoid dealing with these types is to assume that all people are like that until you are convinced otherwise. Personally, I find that I have more friends that are male because I like similar things and I struggle to find common ground with giggling little girly girls. However, I am not dumb enough to think that ALL females are the same because I know a few that I love to bits, that can hold interesting conversation and whom you can rely on.
So yes, I'd probably agree that MOST women are like this and all my female friends agree with me.

I'd also like to point out that it seems to be a new trend with guys too, vanity is creeping in and this has seen a huge increase in the amount of guys I would call a (female dog).

You have to be careful that you don't dislike them BECAUSE they are female as that would indicate an issue you have in your life, but if you find that most people you don't like very much are females then well done, you probably have a personality and sense of humour :o)

Vanity = crap friend.

I can understand your pain. Although, I am a woman and had a man do it to me... Lied about who he is/was, where he was from, everything about him was a complete farce! Down to where and what he told me he went to high school, college and grad school!!! It was not until he was arrested that I found any of this out and if it wasn't for the police and FBI giving me the truth, I still would not have know the truth, because he continued to lie about it from a jail cell! So, truth be known, anyone can lie, cheat, steal, backstab, and be shallow..... it is when you are caught that it really starts to matter.

This is not true at all. Just coz you've been burned in the past dosnt mean to say we are all the same. Dont tar us all with the same brush.
Oh and while were on the subject, some men are backstabbing and shallow aswell, but not all men.

First off, what have men done to elicit trust? Men are fickle when MOST women I know aren't. And just because you don't know how to pick the right kind of women, you're blaming all of us?
There are plenty of amazing women who you probably never gave a second glance to because "they aren't pretty enough"

I'm sorry that women have hurt you. Not all of us treat men badly. You may have alot of women saying the same thing about men. I know that I have had more than my share.

I don't know about women in general, the one I've been with since August is as close to an angelic being as I could ever hope to meet. I have totally given her my heart, and would trust her with my life.
