it happened to me when i was in high school and first menstrual period, so i didn't know at all that my uniform (skirt) was bloody. there was a guy from a Class C (as he told me he was), riding a bicycle and stopped beside me and said: Miss, your skirt is red. So when i looked at my back it was red and i felt ashamed but the guy told me: "you don't have to be ashamed. if you want to go home and change, i can offer you to use my bike instead". i was glad to be approached by that guy and thanked him for his kindness in telling me so.
+and if i see a girl like that also, i would approach her and tell her so she could avoid herself that others might be able to see.

Yep...I'm a say something very discreetly.
I'm a girl so I'd like the same treatment.
Once she gets over the initial embarrassment she'll
find a restroom and do some damage control.
I'd be mortified if I made it all the way home to discover
the stain myself knowing how many people I passed to
make it home.

Of course I would. Better for her to be embarrassed in front of one stranger, than in front of many strangers AND friends.
I once approached a young check out girl in a department store and informed her that her skirt was tucked into the back of her pantyhose. She blushed as she thanked me, but thanked me none the less.

Yes I would tell them. I'd offer her my sweater to tie around her waist so you couldn't see the red stain. If I didn't have a sweater I'd help her in some way. I'd give her a sanitary pad if she didn't have one or go and buy some for her while she went to the bathroom.
I'd do that because if it happened to me I'd want someone to do the same ;)

Depends on where it was. I wouldn't want to be accused of looking at things I shouldn't be even tho a big red stain on a pair of white pants is going to stick out like a sore thumb!

Just take The Cat clubbing with you. When you find that hot guy and decide the other guy is hotter, The Cat will step up to the plate and make it all better. Trust me, The Cat ALWAYS gets his way and he thinks you deserve him. Of course, no one can resist him. Resistance is futile. He just wants smoked salmon in return.

If it's menstrual blood, sure, I'll tell them. I'm not going to be immature about it. Maybe I'll have a female tell them. Generally, as a rule, if I see a person with blood anywhere else on their clothes, I just let that one slide.

Why should I assume it is menstrual blood or something they sat in? With the stuff people wear these days it might be there purposefully, so I might just let it pass.
