I in no way mean the current Iraqi gov and it must be due to reading Bravo two zero by Andy Mcnab ages ago but why am I being tortured in my dreams?

It was horrible and included electric shock, gas torches and knives.

I'm currently dealing with an Alcohol problem, so could that be a factor?

Might make sense... Your body's raging war on itself over whether you want or need alcohol. A dream like this could show that your body feels its being harmed (even if its actually being healed)... Makes more sense because you know your doing a good thing but you're body may not so you dream of something harming you. What do I know though...

jakenyr hit the nail on the head. Your body is healing itself, but may still be going through withdrawals. PLUS our minds put our daily life into pictures to sort and settle events that we are dealing with. The two paired are causing your dreams.

In Case I'm Wrong...Stay Out Of Iraq!!! LOL HUGS...Nana

probably is down to your drinking but wouldn't know for sure I reckon replace the police for drink and that's your torturer also police are a authoritive figure so relate that back to drink you feel it is a dominating factor in your life (on a roll now) also tortured indicates your been held captive by your fears and demon but I'm no expert just what I think may be going on.

You offered a possible answer and I think you may have hit the nail on the head.
If you're not in Iraq, you're dream will remain just a dream. Seek help with your drinking problem.

It's personnifacation of alcohol=police/your dad/doctor
and your liver/heart/kidneys=torture and pain.
When you go to bed , think about a nice ending , like being rescued by 2 x Aleshas (who will=AA)!!
It's nearly time to make New year Resolutions -make one !

Because it's cheap for holiday homes. Think you'll find that at some point in history, all land has been conquered by someone or another, therefore all land is stolen, whichever country you are in. Are you able to, hand on heart, say you don't live on 'stolen' land?

Natural, I feel the same but the torturing agencies are who direct Guantanamu, ABU-Ghraib, and blackwater.
