I am in my late 50's and lately my right knee cracks quite a bit sitting or lying down. Please tell me why this is happening.

I like what your doctor calls the knee cracking. When you think of it that is a good description.
I am on my feet thru out the day as well. I do not have a sit down job. Thanks for your help

My doctor calls it "joint mice". Kind of a funny name don't you think?

I had arthroscopy surgery on my knee because of the pain and it improved so much. Of course I am on my feet all the time.

These could be symptoms of arthritis. The only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be causing this.
