Path To Become A Psychiatrist

Same as Monaco, which also doesn't have much to offer - by being smart & catering to those with $$, not the impoverished. Monaco did it with casinos, Singapore was rich before that, so by offering other off-shore protections. Singapore does not cater to minorities, so if someone like muslims go in there & say We're afraid we'll be discriminated against therefore we want special representation & more rights than the average citizen, Singapore says Tough; take it or leave it. More fairness in that respect = higher standard of living for all, & everybody wants in on that, so there never was a shortage of trying to find people who want to live there. High quality is encouraged, rude, crude, low-quality is discouraged. As the standard of living went up, poverty naturally went down. You can take the boy out of the 3rd-world country but you can't take the 3rd-world country out of the boy. Not everyone can make the grade there. 80% of the poor people around the world would disagree, but those with money-to-burn have to have some place to go to get away from all the beggers occasionally. If you focus on the differences between the have's & the have-not's Singapore may not be for you; but if you focus on the differences between the do'ers & the do-not's, go & have a good time. I did.
