Always!!! The same amount are never there when the wash comes out as when it went in. This has been going on for years...every machine eats socks.

No, but my dog does, before they get to the washing machine. Now the washing machine has gone on strike as it is hungry and wants feeding. But I don't have any more socks. Roll on Christmas.

Yeah. didnt you know theres a paralell universe at the back of the washing machine. Its where all the socks go.

It really is the dryer not the washer. If you were to pull the drum out of the dryer you would be amazed at how many things you will find. Never use dryer sheets in our dryer that just builds up residue in the drum and makes it slick inside, easier for socks to disappear.

The sock gnomes come in to your washing machine and take them and use them as sleeping bags. They use knickers as tents

No, they never last until I can get them to the washing machine, they just disintegrate on my feet.
