Actually though, she probably crashed at sea in a storm-so the plane woulda sunk quite quickly- with her inside or not. If she got out, she would have swam for a while and then a) be claimed by the sea or b) met up with a secret submarine.

A quest is in the offing right now by a highly evolved philanthropy group. There are more then several problematic theories as to wheat happen to her elusive flight.
The best is that she crash landed on one small island and was abandonment there without knowing it.
Parts of he plane, shoes, clothing, etc where found in he area. Whether we''ll ever be abl;e to point a finger and say that's her grave, remains to be see,...

nobody knows,but popular belief is 1. she crashed on one of her long over water legs of her round the world trip....or 2. I've heard a second rumour that the japanese shot her down for spying on them[low probability in my opinion]flying is dangerous,sh*t happens
