My spirituality, the man I love, the family of choice I have *my beautiful friends*, the memories of those who passed before me, my freedoms, my independence, my individuality, my truth, patriotism, and learning.
Great question.....

Freedom to think, feel, Do and Be. To be able to make my own decisions is a big deal for me. To have options and choices. To be able to THINK and use logic. Can you imagine what it must be like to have dementia? Or to lose one of the senses we take for granted like sight or hearing.

I value kindness, loyalty and empathy. Compassion and understanding. I value thoughtfulness and respect.

IF / WHEN I am optimistic, happy or having fun, I truly value that because it seems such a rarity, as does "good" fortune and optimism.

I value still have both my parents alive, not living too far away and still very loyal and together... a rarity in this day and age. I am thankful to my body for still functioning and still carrying on DESPITE what I have put it through and done to it over the years and still do!

I value to sunshine when we get it, again its rare!!

My life is the first thing that I value. Sometimes things get all tossed about it becomes hard to maintain decorum or stick to ones scruples but to be true to thine own self, that is my priority.

First priority is my family. Without them I'd be lost. My parents and my sisters were really there for me when I was at my lowest in my life. It took me almost my entire life to realize just how much they love me. I couldn't live without them. Well, I could, I just would be miserable and lost.

The first answer says, "My beliefs and point of view of life."

Most people, whether or not they realize it, value their beliefs and points of view more than anything. We value being right more than life itself. Why? Because we identify with our minds. The mind's function is the survival of whatever the person thinks he is. So if the person thinks he is his mind, his mind's function becomes the survival of the mind itself. And it fulfills this function by trying to prove its beliefs and points of view to be always right.

My beliefs and point of view of life. And if someone's going to assume that by beliefs I mean god and whatnot, no, not that, I'm an atheist.
