why don't the just sod the hell off? Bug off to Spain or somewhere actually pleasant.

No-one wrote them a calligraphic invitation asking for their presence, at least prior t Tony Blair and the pink New Labour cultural genocidal project.

If I didn't like the way the Pakistanis treated me in Pakistan, or the way Saudis treated me it their homeland- what would give me the equivalent right (as granted to foreigners in the UK) to dare protest my (subjective) poor/inequatable treatment?
How would they react? Favourably or not?
Surely the often-trotted-out bigotted cosmopolitan bourgeoisie excuse of Britsh being more civilsed doesn't hold sway?

I'm sure (and justifiably so) these Saudis, Pakistanis or whomever wouldn't be too impressed at some loud-mouthed, jumped-up upstart foreigner demanding all special rights

Surely if the fire's too hot, leave the kitchen geniuses.

Correct or is my Blairion neuro-transmitter from the Ministry of Love failing?

You're pointing out the fact that the people in power, notably the upper class, is looking at this from an economic perspective. They don't live with the conflicts you're describing so they only see the economics of it. Economics 101. A country runs better with at least some unemployment, which means you need to have more people than jobs. That little fact is why all western countries allow more immigrants than can be comfortably accomodated. This in turn leads to the conflicts at the lower end of the social strata. If there were 0% unemployment, people wouldn't feel they needed to do their jobs as well. Thats all the people at the top care about.

And then there's the idiological side. If you can't rule the world with an iron fist, and it seems no country can these days, then you must lead by example.

Based on nothing more than your question, I would rather vist England than Pakistan or Saudi Arabia.

You seem to be a bit racist and extremely hot-tempered. Britain does not need to lower itself to Saudi Arabian standards.

By the way - don't come over here to Australia and act like a whinging pom - we might get upset by you not liking the way you're treated.......................

That's exactly what I did: I left the USA, where people seem obsessed with race, and now I live in Canada, where I am much happier and people are both more educated and overall better humans.
