While the products you mention can improve their appearance, if you want to promote growth, drink at least 8 liters of water a day and eat lots of jello or take gelatin supplements. Vitamins can also help

1. Nail biting can be a symptom of anxiety, so be careful not to trade one 'nervous' habit for another.
2. Take a good quality multivitamin supplement daily.
3. A balanced diet rich in all the good stuff and low in processed foods and fat is great, too. (Rare in America, overall)
4. Have your nails done with one of the strengthener products.
5. Good luck.

put vinegar on them, i was a bad nail biter now their really nice, because the vinegar is sour it leaves a bad taste in your mouth and this will discourage you to continue biting them

Yay - well done you! Keep them looking nice and every time you are tempted to nibble, you will hopefully remember not to!
Sally Hansen do a couple of good product to encourage growth - Maximum Growth is one and there is another in a gold bottle (can't remember what its called) which I bought a couple of weeks ago and its had an amazing effect on mine in that short time!! I had totally destroyed them gardening during the autumn and like yours, they are finally recovering!
