I looked after and rode work on Androma, 2 time winner of the Scottish National and winner of the Whitbred Gold Cup. Also rode Kayudee nearly every day, winner of the Cesarwich, hand walked Danish Flight (top novice chaser of 1988) daily following his surgery and up until his death. Was assistant manager of Littleton stud and dealt daily with Lochsong who twice won the Cartier Award as Top European Sprinter and was voted 1993 European Horse of the Year. Also rode Persian Punch when he was back at Littleton laying up, Persian Punch earned the 2001 and 2003 Cartier Award for Top Stayer.
Transported Dixie Brass to Cornell when he was stricken with a mystery illness from which he later died the following year.
Also handled Zippo Pine Bar and Zips Chocolate Chip daily for about 8 years at BPQH
And buried at home is Boomdocker who nearly prevented Red Rum from winning his 3rd Grand National. Boomdocker was way ahead and nearly home when he refused and Red Rum then went on to win.

I saw John Henry & Cigar at the KY Horse park and a few other TB stallions, too...

I've never ridden a famous horse, but I have worked with numerous Grand Prix horses, and I did ride an ex-4star eventer horse for a long time, his old owner was pretty famous and was in the Olympics several years back.

My race horses might not have been famous, but they did win on the track, and they were good horses! One of them pulled in over $100,000 on the track, while another one I owned won only $612 on the track, and in his final race, came out 20 lengths from the lead! LOL! Silly thing.

I had Downlands Cancara for six months when he was 4. Have been friends with his breeder for years. He was a lovely person and a great little horse who would do anything for a polo. He was a beautifully mannered stallion and I used to hack out with him and his breeder on the mares he'd covered and he never said a word. I hope he rests in peace, bless him.

Have never ridden these horses:

Cupid and Arrow, they're Breyer horses. The real horses are @ the barn I go to, and my friends ride them.
I have met Cigar and John Henry, and several Arabian U.S. National Champions and a Polish National Champion. I watched Cigar paint a picture when his handler was having him do it. It's adorable.

By the way- my horse might as well be famous. He's basically a rockstar. ; ]

Never ridden one but hopefully putting my mare in foal by Bjorsell's Briar. He's one of the top rated dressage horses in the world. 2005's no. 1 dressage horse in the world and no.1 dressage stallion in the world since 2001.

Never got to ride one, but I have met and had the pleasure of petting both Seattle Slew and Secretariat. Never got to see Affirmed...and Count Fleet died just a few weeks before we went on our first tour down there. That covered the triple crown winners of my time. :O( Took the tour at Claiborne several times, and Three Chimneys once. The Claiborne people are great. :O)

Aside form meeting the Derby horses in the paddocks for the last 8 years.... never got to touch tho:( lol I have only gotten to meet and touch one famous horse and that was Street Sense at the farm where he was foaled. one of my best friends works there and during one of our yearly trips to the derby we stayed with her ta her house at the farm. Street Sense had just been foaled a few weeks before that and she wa sin charge of the foaling barns so on the morning of the Derby we got up extra early and went out to see the foals before they were turned out in the pastures. We met Street sense (at that point he was called "bub" by Tricia lol) who was at that time unnamed. It was funny b/c tricia said you know I have a feeling about this lil guy. When we were at the Derby this year and Street Sense won she burst out crying b/c she practically helped raise this colt until he was weaned, she was the one who halter broke him and groomed him daily.
