Christianity simply trumps all others, in comparison.
Following short examples:
Our holidays (Easter, Christmas, Whitsunday, etc) are more fun, more artistic, have evoked/inspired far more cultural enrichment than any others' (St Matthews' Passion, Christmas Oratorio, A Christmas Carol, Marienplatz markets, among a multitude).
Western society- essentially Christendom and (via the most basic Christian-derived principles underpinning Western society regarding self-improvement, governance, finance, charity and education) has contributed far more to humanity than other culture combined- despite the few borrowed Eastern concepts- the West developed them far further and more effectively than they dared dream.
All major world charities are Christian derived or majority Christian evolved- including UNDP, UNESCO, UNWHO (just who originated the League of Nations?)
Christianity reformed internally of its own volition.
None of the G10 are Muslim, nor Hindu.
Why so reticent to acknowledge it?

So willing to degrade?
What is degrading about pointing out the inarguable superiority of Western European society?
Who is China duplicating to launch itself as a world power? Not Saudi Arabia- for sure.

L'Alhambra- technically unsophisticated-
Taj Mahal- easily technically outclassed by the far more sophisticated Pantheon- and predating it by 1400 years- Taj Mahal's (like all Islamic domes) are Roman-derived.
Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Prambanan, Borobudur- all technically primitive= essenitally piles of elaborately (indeed beautifully) carved stones/bricks.
Parthenon and Pantheon all predate and are far more sophisticated in every possible aspect- including means of construction.
Concrete? Who invented it?

Judaism & Torah= bastardised Zoroastrianism and Egyptian monoethistic sun-worship.
Christianity is essentially Roman & Teuton (germanic) paganism combined with New Testament.
Santa/Father Christmas, St Nicholaus=
Wotan- king of the Norse Gods who'd ride on a horse/reindeer giving gifts to the poor.
Tree= Teuton symbol of evergreen life
Xmas Day= coincidentally occurs around the same time as the Feast of Jupiter
Yahweh of the Torah never said, "Love thy Neighbour"- yet His Christ-child and Messiah did.

Because we have to be politically correct and pretend muslims are sweet people who aren't out to obliterate us and our way of life. If it was made common plublic knowledge how much Christians help others compared to muslims, the muslims' feelings might be hurt.

Christianity is a good religion... but the best? ... Oy! Go see a rabbi!
Following short example:
Our hollidays: (Yom Kippur, Hanukkah, Passover, Shavuot, Sukkot) Are just as fun as any Christian holliday (okay , maybe not Yom Kippur) but at least our holidays don't include teaching our child to worship pagan idols such as: Santa, Easter Bunny, Snowmen, and several different demons and spirits during Halloween. A lot of Jewish holidays evoke artistic imagery like many other religions do including Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Paganism, and Satanism.
If you want to see some serious cultural enrichment check out a Jewish wedding, more fun than a Christian wedding any day!
Western society got most of it's ideas regarding all that you mentioned from the Torah. (The first 5 books of the Christian bible) The west developed on what was already there that I will give the Western world. And for that may they be blessed!
While the UN maybe of western thought it surely had no "Christian" religious stamp on it. The UN is made of many nations some purely non-religious and the UN belongs to no religion to my last knowledge.
And again the G-10 has some purely non-religious countries that are apart of the G-10.
I will not say that Christianity hasn't done good in the world but it has. But it seems like you want to staple everything good that has happened as a purely Christians only idea and that simply is not the case.

Holidays?????? - mostly "borrowed" from older religions.
Music?????? - I notice you don't mention heavy metal or rap
Architecture???? - have you ever see the Alhambra, the Taj Mahal or Ankor Wat?
Western Culture??? - its contributed much, so have the Chinese, Indians, Arabs, and others - not everything wonderful is Western.
Not sure about your "Christian derived principles" - much of it also comes from Bhudism, Hindi, Zoroastrianism, Islam and counyless other religions - and from those with no religion, just a desire to live good lives.
All major charities being Christian based - who are you kidding????????????????????
G10 - what has that to do with things - the G10 is part of the problem - a rich club designed to retain the riches?
Whya re you so reticent to acknowledge the good that has come from all around the world - not just one religious grouping.

I am sorry, but I choose not to have a religion if it subscribes to the doctrine that " my god is bigger than your god" and not all Christians are Christian. It seems that those whom are motivated to make claims of superiority over others, ( with respect to something as intangible as one's faith and doctrine) , may be doing so to overcome personal feelings of inadequacy. Does posting a question conceal or compensate for the personal insecurity of the one asking this question. I would think one has better things to do. All religions are basically the same as far as I can tell. Otherwise you are not that different from the Crusaders of the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th centuries.
Don't forget the legacy of the Inquisition.
From my vantage point, many religions are set up to act as an extension of political authority and social control.
I tend to side with Mark Twain on this issue.

Followers of each religion believe their faith is superior to all others. Therefore as a Christian, one has the unchallenged right to believe the same to be the case.
Superiority is never seen as a case in point, and can therefore not be measured by the number of official holidays or charity organisations affiliated to groups of a particular religion.
One might have the urge to argue that most of today's humanitarian organisations are Christian-based. However by the same token, the same can be argued that these organisations are not in existence for the sole reason that they are Christian, but exist on their humanitarian credentials and their inert abilities to show humility, kindness and universality approach to all peoples [ regardless of their backgrounds, faith, sex or social standing]. they could be said to show superior understanding of the society in which we live on these grounds.
Christianity is all encompassing, this is why all such organisations as you have mentioned stand out in their own right as humanitarian groups.

Don't forget the Crusades, The Spanish Inquisition, and a history of Catholic buggary going back centuries.
And to say that "our" holidays are aesthetically superior to the ones from other cultures is the same kind of noble savage institutionalized racism I foolishly thought had faded away. You don't think Muslims enjoy Ramadan?
I would argue that, as far as made up gods go, Christianity has a lot to answer for.

Very prevalent, and an admirable trait. the potential interior of our spirit is boundless. lots of the time we are intimidated and made to sense small. we are products of our environment. From the seems of issues, no one is purely too desirous to furnish compliment for a activity properly finished. So, we tend to sense no longer just about as good as others to a factor, and then we purely bust out and enable all of it pass loose...anyplace and on each and every occasion. I did it as quickly as right here on Yahoo solutions while some vast badges interior our surroundings area have been attempting to assert that folk who have self assurance earth is changing are nuts, or something. Then the sturdy police on Yahoo solutions took factors away, yet decrease back them as quickly as I apoligized. My advice, in case you go with to stay healthful and not be painted into the wall by potential of the powers that be...enable all of it out once you may. there is plenty long previous wacko presently, and we choose people such as you to make a fact while it counts. by fact of this I took the recent call of Leo Lion, by fact i'm roaring mad. Take care.

Im guessing you are american - you colonials take religion far to seriously. It fizzled out in the uk when we got educated and realised it is just a load of well written fiction.
It was useful in the past when people had nothing else in their lives and never questioned what the wealthier influential people told them. But like all religions it served a purpose and in the modern world is no longer required.

Religion has been the 1 true cause of human suffering, which ever religion you have sold your soul to, you have been brainwashed. Christianity is modern day front for capitalism. All the bright lights and mega pricing gifts is just another way to force you to spend your hard earned cash.
Christian Charity, they also have Fat Cat chief executives screwing the general public. Missionaries, they did not help the 3rd world countries, we spread civilised deceases and forced them to believe in Christ, they still went hungry. Christianity is seen to be a kind and helpful religion, but in reality it is a Dark machine designed to control the Human Race

Because, mate, of arrogance.
Does your religion teach you it, or is it natural?
I think you'll find that the majority of those who profess to be Christian are non practising in most developed nations, the US and UK been prime examples.
And frankly I find my religion being the same as yours less than palatable. To think your God is remotely similar to mine is faintly unbelievable.
Since when was Christianity taught as a supremacist faith? Not how it's written in my Bible, at any rate.
