Will anyone join me in a prayer for the two McCann parents this Christmas ? I have said a prayer for them and asked God to make it a little easier for them through Christmas day.
What they must going through coming up to Christmas must be agony beyond belief. Let's not castigate them anymore. They were idiots for leaving their baby alone.... but then who isn't an idiot one time or another ? Mea culpa, mea culpa, that's what I say.
Prayer for the McCanns ? Please ?!
Will anyone say 'Amen' after me ?

This was a kind of experiment. I wanted to see how many people really are in favour of the McCanns. It is now clear what people think of them.
You all gave HONEST answers so no one wins. I will put it to the vote. THANK YOU ALL.

Did that issue of bloodstains in their car ever get explained?
Was that just the Portugese Police being stupid?

Hi Red, I hear you but can't reciprocate.

My only prayer would be that those two selfish neglectful people develop a conscience and start telling the truth! They brought all this on themselves and have shown no remorse whatsoever. People do make mistakes but leaving 3 'tot's alone is not a mistake but a extremely selfish and irresponsible action that could only lead to disaster unless by some miracle. But I doubt Christmas will be any different for them, as they don't seem to have a heart so won't feel a thing....

I do not pray, but i will have little Maddie in my thoughts. The parents can go to hell, i only hope one day they will be bought to justice for their part in their own child's disappearance. Once again they whine about what a hard time they are having and how we should all remember Maddie, about time they took their own advice.

Thumbs up for Busy Bee x x

Amen. Pray for Maddie, pray for the family, pray for the twins, who don't understand what's going on and think Santa will return Madeleine for Christmas. I hope he does. x_x_x

Two of my colleagues have had to cope with the death of a child in the last two months. One of my colleagues lost his 18-year old son in October and the other colleague lost his 7-year old son to cancer in November. Why do you think the McCanns are any more special than my two colleagues who didn't lose their kids through negligence?
I will not join you in your prayers but I'm asking you to pray for those parents who have lost their kids in genuine circumstances such as an illness, traffic accident or other where the parents are not guilty of anything.

I'm an Atheist so I dont do prayers, but my thoughts are with Madeleine, and every other child who went/goes missing, is unable to eat or drink, or is uncared for during this winter.

As for these two 'parents' you name they should be in prison in Portugal for serial child neglect.

No . But I do pray that you will come to your senses and see what terrible neglectful parents the McCanns are. If they had not left their children alone .They would not be in the situation they are in now
