David Cameron is purely leaping onto yet another band wagon. by potential of the time of the subsequent election he will probable have held each and every opinion conceivable on each and every difficulty. the money industry disaster develop into brought about by potential of the banks themselves and their greed for income sucked them into the disaster while the U. S. sub-best industry collapsed. besides the undeniable fact that the media have not helped with their unfavorable coverage. i'm additionally taken aback that the media have not pronounced the reality interior the present Northern Rock debacle that Barclays borrowed a number of hundred million from the monetary company of britain on the beginning up of August.

of course the goverment are to blame they have given them almost 30 billion of our money who else can you blame. they cannot sell northern rock now because of he debt it is in if the goverment had done nothing it would have gone to the wall and only the savers would have lost out. now every taxpayer s lost out to the tune of approx £900 per household so in effect you have given £900 of your tax to a virtual stranger if that is not the goverments fault what is.
edit just read the comment about the rock being nationlised are you daft they are in debt to the tune of 30 billion pounds in effect even if it is nationlised the 30 billion will have to be repaid just because it is nationlised the debt does not go away it will still need repaying that will be another 30 billion that goes out of the taxpayers kitty for a company that is worthless get a grip. I realise the second 30 billion will only be a paper transaction but nevertheless it will be another 30 billion out of the economy. this fiasco is probably the biggest blunder the country as ever been involved in and the government have not got a clue.
the goverment intervened in a situtation that should have been allowed to run its course and in the real world some people would have lost money. Now everybody as lost money great planning by the goverment. have a laugh

Because they have no credibility.

John Major, the PM in charge on Black Wednesday and who was so ineffectual and indecisive in the face of a crisis he had a breakdown. Mmm, somehow I don't think I'll be voting for the Tories...ever!

Labour are getting a lot of flak over the past weeks. The people seem to have short memories as far as politics are concerned so the Tories will squeeze the situation for all it's worth. Can't say I'm that happy with some of the things in the Labour Party myself at present but they've held power for so long there's so many who've not a clue just how appalling the Tory era was, so, as you say, now's the time for them to TRY and revive their luck.

It is a plc but labour used millions of tax payers money to prop it up. money that could have been better spent.

That's a bit rich, coming from the man who was in charge on Black Wednesday ! The Rock will have to be nationalised.

Why are they digging up old failures ? Why not ? They expect us to have short memories and attention spans, and most of us oblige, so they'll probably get in again :(
