So the news pretty much isn't always right.

Global warming is not real. Some parts of the world MAY be getting colder, but guess what? MY city is getting colder every year. Global Warming is a very poor term for it. Humans are not powerful enough to create any permanent change on the planet.

You are lucky to be on that side of the arguement because it's the right side. 1) The climate of the Earth has been changingfor millions of years, humans have no effect on the overal climate of the earth. 2) Scientists have yet to prove that changes in C02 cause the earth to heat up. Some eveidence points to the climate getting hotter and then more C02 being released into the atmosthshpere. 3) The polar ice caps are NOT melting. Some of the ice in the north pole may be melting, but more ice than ever is appearing in the South Pole. Al Gores's An inconveinent Truth is full of lies and doesn't even use real pictures. The main scenes of the movie used the fake sets from The Day After Tomorrow, explain that Al Gore!!!! Well good luck!!

No, it's not us !! It's birds and butterflies that started it !! We're harmless creatures that never cause any destruction to the planet. All the millions of plants that are choking the planet with their smoke are owned by a bunch of canaries and parakeets. And all the nuclear waste that's being dumped here and there is all made by butterflies and finches. Oh yeah, we humans don't drive cars, it's cats who do. I'm not a big believer in this whole globla warming thing but we certainly ARE destroying our planet and our own race. But I dont care, I'm not having any kids to worry about them and their miserable future.

I think you are part of a mass paranoia. Right now the countries of the world meet in Bali to discuss global warming.
Al Gore took Nobel prize along with an enviromental group.
The Ice circle along the poles is increasingly melting.
The temperatures are warmer every year. Species goes extinct. But there are some smart alecks who still doubt it.
Nobody said we'll die a horrible death but our grand-grandchildren are at this risk.

Nice "question."
The evidence suggests that our actions are contributing to global warming. We probably will never know how much was caused by whichever factor. If you listen to the "earth-cycle" theories, they don't really stand up. So I think those people are putting their heads in the sand.
Regardless, global warming, whatever the cause, certainly could cause so many problems that it could put a majority of people in life-threatening situations. I'd explain, but I think I've already wasted my "breath."

The earth naturally warms/cools over the centuries, it is true that we can be speeding up the process... Better safe than sorry innt it?

I personally don't believe we are doing anything, it's just people thinking they are mighty and powerful and that they can affect everything.

There is no harm in fighting Global Warming. If it really doesn't exist, no foul done. But, if people like you are wrong, and we really don't do anything, then we all loose. I'd rather take the insurance.

If we're smart enough to speed it up, humans should take responsibility in contolling it as well.

Planet earth could certainly do without humans

No. It's cause the sun is burning us all out, and melting the ice. But we do play a role with pollution, car exhaust (?) and all of the aerosol sprays, which we overuse and should use sparingly.

You feel me?

No it's not all humans fault.

We have been making it worse by depleting it faster than the earth can mend.
