But can somebody help me............
I am in deep trouble...................
I don't have anyone else to talk to....................
Can't even tell my mom about this.................

The problem is that my periods are irregular infact very irregular...........
Sometimes they start after a gap of 3 months, sometimes 2 months, sometimes they start for one day and finish the next day...........

Yes my mom has adviced and even forced me visit a gynaecologist but the thing is that I have this perception in my mind that if I go and visit the gynaecologist, he/she will check my genitals, I mean I actually have to remove my clothes in front of him or her who is a stranger................

I know almost everyone has to go through this phase especially women for example when delivering babies.............

But I really can't stand this thought................
I know my problem may become worse if I don't visit the gynaecologist..................
Please somebody help............

I think that the pill woudl help to regulate your cycle, I have heard similar stories from friends of mine and the pill totally straightened them out. good luck and try not to be afraid opf the doctor, ob/gyn's are professional and understand that people can feel weird about that sort of thing.

*****I feel like you do, I always have. I have 3 kids and felt that way threw the entire pregnancy's, and delivery's! I never would have even gone to the Dr. if it wasn't for the fact I had to do the best for the baby. I didn't go to one after that, though that's for sure!... The only thing I've does to ease my mind in this situation is make sure I have a FEMALE Dr., Every one of them, not even male nurses, all female.. They tend to be older Dr.'s, and make you feel like its your grandma, somebody that doesn't make you uncomfortable, and has seen it all, twice!...Once you find one, that you feel OK going to, it will get easier. Still, it's never going to be "pleasant" but you can learn to tolerate it. I still struggle with it, but I've learned to make sure to surround myself with only Dr.s and nurses that are female, and that i trust. You may have to try a few, maybe a lot, but you will find someone, that will work for you. It sucks but it's life, and at one time or another, we all will have to go to the doctor. Just think that everybody else does it, so can you!*****

You don't say how old you are. But if you only started periods in the past year or two, then it's quite normal for this kind of thing and you probably don't need to worry. Also if you diet a lot, or are excessively thin, that can affect it.
