i do NOT understand those people who make their Q&As private.....what's the reason behind doing this??? i would really wanna know....tell me ppl...

because I sometimes ask kinda embarrassing question at different category other than P and S. So, i dont want my previous questions and answers to affect my image discussing absolutely normal and usual stuffs most of the time.

you're proper. That function, alongside with blockading and reporting, besides as deleting debts would not do a concern to provide up trolls. If something, it enables them shop doing what they do maximum suitable: annoy you. Now, i would be honest: my profile is inner maximum, and it quite is inner maximum by fact i choose it that way. Will it provide up people from making unfavorable comments, violation notices, or perhaps people stalking me? No, of course no longer. And purely like i'll maintain my profile inner maximum, people will do regardless of they sense will help them sleep at night. great question nonetheless!!!

One reason i know is that when you apply for a job, you send your CV, including your email address. Well, the one who want to employ you can check what you are up to using your email address. This is true, many people do these things, and when you go on your interview, you get the surprise of your life.
Of course, not everybody on Y! Answers hide their Q and A because of this, it's just a possibility.

Well, I considered making mine private, because my younger sister has an account on here, and I don't want her to see my Q & A's because that would just ruin Y!A for me. So I just found her, and blocked her :)

Because they don't want random people looking for their questions. I know it's a bit stupid because all you have to do is add someone to your contacts and then you can see their profile. But then all that person has to do is block them.

because some people on here are pyschos and if you make them mad they'll answer all your ?'s to make you mad and harass you. That's why mine is private
