I work on 100% commission and things look like they will be pretty slow for 2008. If I pull in very little money in 08, what type of public assistance am I entitled to?

If you qualify for meeting "poverty" status, there's food stamps.

You are entitled to minimum wage......you shouldn't be 100% commission if you are an employee of a business.

Other than that, you are entitled to quit and find a better paying job. Not trying to be mean but why would you stay in a job where you predict that you will have a bad year and make very little money. Instead of suffering through a year of financial uncertainty, wouldn't it make more sense to look for something with a regular paycheck?

It depends on what income you *do* bring in. Medicaid, food stamps are available. Consider a second job.
