If a sentient pancake, and a sentient waffle, were somehow created, placed into a steel cage, and told that only one of them may leave alive....... WHO......WOULD.......WIN???

The waffle I think - most definitely - the waffley texture would work as a pseudo body armor. Plus, did you not know that waffles have magical powers? Yes. Indeed they do. They would kick that pancakes *** - that his little silver dollar off springs would feel it :)

Interesting question. Yesterday morning, my wife and I went to our local diner where she usually has her weekly eggs benedict. Yesterday, she decided to have waffles instead. Up until the time the waitress came, when she unexpectedly changed her mind and ordered pancakes. I was bummed because I was going to snag part of the waffle for myself, and diner pancakes can be heavy sometimes.

When they pancakes came, I was pleasantly surprised! Light and really tastey. My wife got a couple of bites too. So, before yesterday, my answer would have been the waffle. But since breakfast, I dont know now. I may have to go with the pancake option!!!

Pop Tarts and Waffles. BQ: None really, I just prefer Waffles to Pancakes and Pop Tarts to Toaster Strudels.

If it were a tussle, the reinforced waffle;
if the cage door had a space underneath, the pancake, as it could slip out more easily.

There is a somewhat philosophical book which categorizes men as waffles, people who enjoy putting things in categories, boxes, and women as spaghetti, touchy-feely and all over the place.

"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, and
"Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, worthwhile.

I believe that waffle MUST win, after all isn't a waffle just a more sophisticated pancake?

pancake, the waffle maybe more muscular and thick, but the pancake is flexible, maybe if the pancake is smart it will tire out the waffle first, you because the pancake has more energy, the syrup and sugar...
