I usually try to return it back to the cart rack if it's close by. If it's too far away..mind you I have a 3 year old with me...I leave it in between the cars and just hope that it doesn't start rolling away...lol.

I alway take back or let it at the cart rack but I don't want to dint someone else car but you won't be happy when you come out and saw someone dinted you car so I care about other people feelings before mine and sometimes if there is any one who is coming to get a shop carts. I just give to them especially with ladies or older woman. they like a man to hand them a shopping cart but I could be wrong. I want every one to put there shopping cart in the cart rack just like me and the other who answer this question.

Lol! It depends on how far I am from the store. Most stores have cart racks in the parking lot to make it more convenient. I put them in a rack somewhere though. My first job was Safeway, so I don't play my fellow cart collectors.

I put it back in the cart rack...but I usually don't even get a cart at all, cause I don't wanna deal w/finding a rack to put it in lol...I just carry all the bags...

Gosh. Are you watching me or something? I'm guilty as heck!!! I never return the shopping cart to the cart rack!!! I do make sure they won't roll into anothers car as I wouldn't want it to happen to mine!!

Usually to the cart rack, but if I'm lazy then somewhere where I think/know it won't roll.

Usually the rack unless I am in an extreme rush. If I dont I feel bad though.

I ALWAYS return it to the cart place!!!
I would not want one to run into my car, and I would hope that no one would leave theirs to run into mine, but, lots of people do!! That is one of my pet peeves!!
