Part of the reason is that for most of the country they don't sell beer on Sundays so you know once this supply is gone IT'S OVER until Monday.
The knowing you can't have it makes it seem like there's never enough.

Our beer stores open at 10AM Sunday mornings. It's tough on those who've been up all night waiting, lol.
