If a one day game is abandoned due to bad weather, why isn't then the game played the next day when its good weather? I am not able to understand this. Why the cricket boards not think of this situation and always presume that weather is good?

Shouldn't they keep reserve day too? In test match its okay if it rains because there are 5 days and draw is also an option. But it is just not right to cancel the game forever, if it rains.

At the time of finalisation of any schedule, such a decision has to be taken in consultation with the Boards of the two teams playing. while it is a suggestion worth considering, due to tight schedules of the teams, such a provision may not be aloways possible. Once the schedule is finalised, no change will be possible unless both the Boards agree for the same.

The match will be abandoned because of player rights and media coverage and also they would only be allocated to that ground on that particular day of play and people do have to go home and they also take into consideration the players and the community.

The schedules are so busy these days that they need to plan ahead and a last minute change of schedule would make the players resting time very short.
