Did I miss some news or something? I still haven't haven't heard anything about those Utah miners? Was the dilemme resolved? Is the search still continuing? Have people given up? Any results?

so tragic isn't it. the media can't wait to report on a terrible tragedy...and then have no problem to not bother to follow up properly. the family's deserve better than that. if they had been rescued...we would have heard about it. take a moment to thank God for your situation, to bless the family's of those lost. if that's not your thing...then send positive energy to the family for the difficult holidays they have to overcome.

The search was ended when a cave-in during a rescue attempt killed three of the would-be rescuers. It was decided that another rescue attempt would be too dangerous. The men are still entombed in the mine and will stay there because the mine has been permanently sealed off. The men who were trapped probably never had a chance from the start. The section they were working in was known to be unstable and it likely collapsed on top of them. The reason why microphones and cameras dropped into the bore holes didn't find anything was likely because the men were buried under the rubble.

Still down there and the mine is sealed up now. Others were killed and injured trying to rescue them.

ya i believe they gave up on finding them cause they were unable to find them. that is such a sad loss.
