Well, some of them are dead already, one of them in particular at 21.

But one of my best friends of 3 years basically disappeared this year and another one I haven't seen in over 3 years since he got kicked out of college. WHere are they now?

And where are your old friends now? What is it like for older people to look back and scratch their heads trying to figure out where their old friends are?

I was pretty selective with my friends growing up. Had very few of them.

Two of them got very heavy into drugs, haven't seen them in YEARS. One I keep in touch with every now and again, but don't hang out with, has a girlfriend and a kid. The last one is a body builder looking to get into Mr. Olympia, or something like that.

Well, I hope I never have to ask this on y!A years later. I'm a very sensitive and caring (I try to be) person, when it comes to friends*good ones that is. I hope the people who are close to me now, are close to me in this life, even if we do go through hardships and stuff and distance. I can imagine my future, I don't know that will be like that, but I hope no matter what I am Thankful for what and who is in my life. I'm 20, so I've a little more to go in this life.

One of my friends disappeared, changed genders and came back -- most of our mutual friends don't know what happened. So, be careful what you wish for!

There is one guy I'd love to find -- haven't been able to find him through google. Basically, though, it's better to look forward than look back.

There are the ones who have changed and do not want to be found (myself), ones who weren't worth a crap, and the ones you never lost touch with.
