No! Basically now you are her family! She has three kids with you and the kids need you there as much as her. Why is she putting her aunty before you anyway? This sounds like a totally still situation. Her aunt sounds like a interfeiring nit wit. Its none of her business who her neice sees. I would be telling her to BUTT OUT, especially since you have a family!

Boyfriends might come and go, but she will still be her auntie. Ergo, blood is thicker than water. "Female Partner," what the hell is that? Means you trust her enough to have 3 kids, but not trust her enough to marry her??? Hmmmm, now I am siding with auntie. Maybe auntie is calling it as she sees it, and you can't stand the heat, you're a little thin skinned. It's long overdue you go ring shopping, go to the courthouse, and show your true colors. Chow

The way I was raised is that once married you put your spouse first but there are times that you must put family first and she should be able to tell the difference. Have you tried talking to her calmly about it? Take care.

just an aunt? If you have three kids with the woman, i think you should ask her to marry you. Its tacky to live with a woman, have kids with her and not marry her. maybe you should figure out what she's saying and counter it by being a sweetie

in most relationships there is always a family member who does not like the partner . just let ur gf talk and hang out with her... and just let them be family but not take to heart what she says to u
