wouldn't it be better if i reach for myself? :)

if i reach for my inner self, i will be able to build my world little by little with faith and perseverance.
if i will be strong, i will never give up building a happy world again.

:)

light should shine from a source which never stops emitting light, let the source be the strength and the faith in yourself....the light will never fade away and will never be required to be held...

* i believe in that *
:)

I reach for the Light of consciousness, so I can perceive the moment or movement in my life as it is to understand its significance so that I can grasp a hold of the opportunity in such circumstances and use it as a time of reflection and self work - basically turn within and through seeing it from a higher perspective I can then affect those around me in a manner that is truly helpful and bring Light to them. In a Negative Cycle is great opportunity for consciousness, to work on parts of yourself which other wise you would be blind to, or unconscious of. Sort of like the moon that cycles and we can never see one part of the moon, as it is always casted in shadows.

I reach for understanding, to be honest. Look how your question provides insight on this nature of mechanical man. Without an event, there was no prayer, no need for a weapon, no coming to neighbor... those type of events shock us and puts us in a position of consciousness.

It depends on the circumstance. And yes a weapon is not necessarily a gun or knife. But a useful tool that will aid in my helping myself out of a jam in life. Neighbors, friends, family or prayer really really help.

I will reach for my best friend who in all essence has been my 'older brother' all of my life. I would never pick up a weapon nor would I ever resort to prayer.

my familiar world has been shattered many times in my life. I have always reached within to find the something that it takes to stand back up and do what needs to be done to restore some simile of a "normal" life.

When anything does not work according to what I've planned, and I mean I,ve been there, atleast I know I still have the light in me to continue in the path that is set ahead of me, could be different, only thing to ponder is not to blow out the light in me, no matter what.

It's happened more than once, and I go to the Lord in prayer. He has never let me down.

I would go for a very thoughtful reflection upon myself, my life, the vastness of the universe, and the size of our world. It's sounds kinda corny, but really, just try it. It won't make anything better, but rather your perspective will be better.
