I think he did. When Droopy (Drew P.) answered his cell phone and said he was at home, the caller (Stacy's sister) was in front of his house. His car was not there. He sounded out of breath adn she heard kays jingling.

The investigators have tracked the call to a particular cell tower which would put himin Romeoville, near the canal that investigators have been digging up.

Do you think this is going to be his fatal mistake? The one that he forgot about when he planned to kill his wife?

He recently transferred almost a quarter million dollars to his son Steve, the one who is also a cop but not in the same town.
Where does this SOB get all this money? He alleges that Stacy took $25,000 in cash.

And what about his fund raiser website? What was the point of that? I can not figure that part out.

Figuring anything out about Drew Peterson will only make your head hurt. You really don't want to get that far into the mind of a lunatic.

Yes, I'm sure he made a mistake -- more likely MANY mistakes. The cell call is only one of them. Remember how many people saw him carrying the large box (or helped him carry it)? He's left too many calling cards in this. Unlike the wife in the bathtub, this one will almost certain land right back on his doorstep. And since his name isn't O.J. Simpson or Robert Blake, he'll have a very hard time beating the rap in court.

Money? No telling. Since we highly suspect he's a crooked cop (at least so many of us believe he probably did in one wife, and perhaps two), how hard of a leap is it to think that he also came by some money through other than legal means.

This is all alleged (because I have no proof), but I have to believe that the police and prosecutors in this case will eventually get the right guy behind bars.

Hey Cheesy:

Lol...he never knew that the woman who lied to be his alibi would come up missing. ah haahahahaahah! Mistake #1.

I didn't think much of the money transfer...he could have said that he was afraid that Stacy, after running off with the other guy, could have withdrawn funds for her own use ("stolen" their money)....

The majority of the $$ he moved was in a JOINT account between him and Stacy. I'd say this is one of the things that will completely NAIL him in court.....AND......

The phone records will BURY him.

---and he isn't getting his vehicles/guns back. Yippee.

I hope his son comes clean with what he knows.
I also don't care how opportunistic Ric Mims may be with selling stories; He is helping the prosecution and I don't think he is lying at all.

Yeah, he made the classic mistake of any wife-killer: he did it twice. Some people can get away with it once; rare is the bastard who can do it twice.
