replaced brake switch,car starts ok, taillights work. just won,t come out of park. wires on switch seems ok. has floor shift.

I think you should have had it in neutral with the tires wedged (so not to roll) when you replaced the brake switch or something. Because with my 98 Taurus when I go to park it, if I don't push my reg break all the way in before I put it in park (then apply the parking brake) it kinda gets stuck in park when I try to drive again. I have to like strong arm it into/out of gear and it makes this big palunk noise as it jumps into gear (even though I have my foot on the reg brake). Other than that-I LOVE MY TAURUS!

Not sure but is this a car where you need to have the brake pushed in before it comes out of part? maybe there is a problem with that system.

you should try looking at your fuse or you can alway take out the lock pin
