the Spaniards exposed the So. American Indians to diseases that they had not encountered before, and therefore had no immunities to. The Spaniards also had guns whereas the So. American Indians were still using only spears and swords.

I have no Idea(thats a sad story right there) but lets look at the birghter sides,I love my grandfather and my Grandmother,if the spainards had not invaded,uff I would not have my precious abuelitos now would I??

They didn't really. It was the european diseases and bacteria that the natives had no immunity or resistance to that wiped most out!

Easy, expose them to diseases that they had never encountered. Such as Smallpox and Yellow Fever, which they had no resistance or natural immunity to.
Then just sit back and wait for enough of them to die until you can conqour them.
