Why do people hate...?

those who dress or listen to emo/scene? Those who are emo don't usually cut themselves, aren't always depressed, don't cry all the time, and are most likely really nice people when you get to know them. So...why are they so hated by others? Why are there so many stereotypes that go along with the whole emo/scene thing?

Sadly, the people that are truly "Emo" and just have really cool style, get over shadowed by over-dramatic, attention-hungry losers that act out by dressing dramatically when all they need to do is ask some one for a hug. I'm sure you know the type, and THAT is what is hated. Not the Emo's ;)

This doesn't apply to me because I don't hate anyone including people who dress emo/scene... we're just different is all.

Perhaps just tired of make-believe, un-reality, and gross imaturity trying to be seriously masked into "LET'S DRESS UP AND PRETEND"
....it's people "playing" a role.....and it's "PHONEY"
.....sooner or later you will all realize this,...depending on how soon you get any insight and maturity...(or NOT)

people are people and i believe that we should learn to tolerate even though our interests are different :)

i do not hate because of how someone dresses or what type of things they like, but they can tend to be annoying.
