That's one of the filthiest positions there are...and lots of pornstars are dying of AIDS. Is that so glamorous? I don't think so...for men or women. I wouldn't want anything to do with anyone who likes and/or is 'proud of' their occupation as a 'porn star'. That's just filthy and disgusting. It's not a 'honest living' by any means. I don't even like having filthy people like that in this world...they are what cause children to grow up and get into that garbage, oftentimes even leading their own children into it. Maybe if enough of them get AIDS and die from it, they'll consider. A 'porn star' is basically a prostitute in front of a camera. Like any actor...you might meet and greet people when filming, just like the filming of a movie. But you don't know where that person was in their personal life, what diseases they may have, how many people they are going around with apart from their little occupation, etc. Personally, I think it's disgusting. I'd rather make minimum wage than do something filthy like that, and endanger my own life. A higher paying job can always be sought after; but once you get a deadly disease, you can't 'undo' that or seek health. It is definitely NOT okay, and NOT an honest living. There's no 'hard work' in laying around with every woman and guy you can, just to make a few bucks. Even the people with high paying jobs are working a regular job; and yet they still seem to find time to do the same things that porn stars do. Again...an 'honest living'? Neither are the working people who work a regular job, and basically live a personal life as a prostitute on the side. Sick, sick, sick. I wish all of the sick people could just disappear so that the normal people can live a decent, moral life for a change.

They *should* find it very difficult filming such things front of a mass of people. That's the point of feelings of embarrassment and shame; to prevent us from doing such sick things.

Some people look down on porn stars, which is rather dumb since porn stars work very hard for their money. Porn is not all that glamorous and hot stuff you see on the screen either. It's very difficult work, especially for the men who sometimes have to keep it up for hours on end. And everyone does their scenes in a start-stop-start again fashion while the director makes up his mind about this or that angle. Also the actor is having sex in front of a bunch of people, sometimes as many as 25 people. Another angle is that it's not an easy racket to break into and you can't do it forever. Once the youth and good looks start to vanish, that's it.

I would say that it is both looked down upon and revered by different types of people. Arguments can be made either way. Some people view it as a legitimate profession, while others view it as self destructive behavior. Personally, I wouldn't do it myself. But I'm not one to judge another person based on what they do for a living. And arguably, porn stars make a hefty amount of money every month.

i feel bad. it's not funny in any way. it's even worse for pornstars because that's what they do for a living and now they may be too traumatized to work anymore.

In my opinion, it is lookd down upon.

It's a sin. Isn't one of the 10 commandmends; Thou shalt not commit adultery??

Even if it isn't a tenth commandment, I still say it is nothing to B proud of.
