For me...this was the year for "falling down on my butt!"...
I fell and sprained my ankle back in Sept.... In Oct I slipped on wet tile while at work and fell on my butt...hit my head..... Then I fell in my driveway on black ice..... Then I fell on a sidewalk...black ice again.... Then I fell down on the road....more ice under snow....
All five times I fell all the way down.....and my ankle is still sore since September's fall.... I have gone decades and not fallen this much....I don't know what is up?
How about you? what was a repeated pattern this year for you?

Being exhausted ... and falling asleep all the time !
I work full-time, I am a single Mom w. a 3 and 5 year old .... and I am taking 2 graduate classes ... so I am always, always TIRED! I am averaging only about 3 -4 hours of sleep ....
There are some nights when I am up at 3 am [like tonight!] doing grad school homework ... and I sometimes almost fall asleep at my desk the next day ... Or behind the wheel .... I have near-miss accidents driving home from work ... because I am falling asleep at the wheel . That is what happens when you only average 4 hours of sleep a night ... :(

Hey! Mine was falling down too!
Down a staircase in Mexico, passing out at work, tripping over a trash can in my brother's Econ class, falling in the shower and causing a huge shaving scar, etc, etc. My knee is permanently swollen. I had the same pattern 2 years ago, and the bump on my forehead is still there from that, too.
And I suppose deaths were big this year too. A family member's girlfriend, a cousin, another cousin who's only in the process of dying (stay away from anorexia, kids!), my mom's friend's husband, and many, many more.

I never watched the show before. But on the advice of a friend, I started watching season 6 in Jan. 2007. Since then, I can't get enough. I've bought dvd's of all of the previous seasons on ebay, watched them over and over again. The extras on the dvd releases is terrific.
I can't wait for the next season!

Eating a lot of watermelon. We bought a lot of watermelon this year and never seemed to run out of watermelon.
