manali in january will be extremely cold. i think there will be snow in manali and the roads might also be blocked so think well coz you might be stuck in one place for days. if thats the way you want your honeymoon...... well go for it..... but i am not sure if you fancy the place inspite of it being extremely cold

Yes,Why not it all depends upon your taste. If you wish to see the snow bound peaks or sonw fall infront of your eyes .You can take chance to see the snowfall. Now the time goes when road was closed for 3 -4 days. Now a day due to lot of machnistaion the road opend with in a day and due to environment change there are less snow as it comes before 1995.If you want to enjoy a chilled and some day a sunsine in manali you can visit. Please ensure your partner also for the same.

Anytime is good time to go to Manali. In summer you see the fast flowing rivers. In winter the snow. For honeymooning an ideal place. I am 63 and I had gone with my wife for our second honeymoon. We really enjoyed.

i think unless its for ur honeymoon try and avoid d month of january coz it will be extremely cold.but january wud d the best time if its ur honeymoon as crowds wud be less and can enjoy.
otherwise u can visit manali feb end or early march as weather wud be better and u can enjoy fresh snow fall. summers wud be too crowdy unless ur above 40years avoid manali in summers.

It is full of petroleum refinery, petro chemical industries and fertiliser industry etc and totally a polluted area and wonder where you want to spend your honey moon. Manali is a township near Chennai and you should have asked KuluManali in Simla. Got me?
