It can be manga or anime. If they don't appear then at least tell me where one of them talked once. but i already seen where Luffy was in Loguetown and lightning struck the gallows(they didn't show Dragon's face).

Monkey D. Garp was never shown officially on the manga until chapter 430. He appeared on the the mini-arc covers for coby and helmeppo which was made into a mini-arc in the show. Very sneaky of Oda-sensei to put a key character as a low profile one. Dragon appears on Loguetown helping Luffy escape. He appears once again in chapter 431 with the name Monkey D. Dragon the most wanted man in the entire world.

in episode 320...monkey D. garp will reveal himself to de straw hat pirates and tell de crew he is luffy's grandfather and explain about his son. Monkey D. Dragon

episode 324 will show both garp and dragon, both talked in this episode.
