Ok so I do not mean to sound gross,but I would just like to know if this is happening to anyone else or if it's normal. Anyways well for the past few days my period has been brown and its not even bloody at all!!! It's not really heavy but I mean I have a few clots and stuff I mean just like a regular period. But it like seems like its gonna end and it doesn't. Ive never had this happen and I hope its normal. I mean on the pamplet it said periods may last longer during the first 3 months. I dont remember seing a change in color,lol. I've also been having horrible mood swings,so I dunno what to do.

Yes, some spotting/breakthrough bleeding (breakthrough bleeding is bleeding that acts a lot like a period but isn't) can be normal when trying to adjust to being on a pill like Yaz. As for the mood swings, I've met other women who did the sister product Yasmin and had a huge problem with the mood swings.
I would recommend letting your doctor know what's going on to have them evaluate the situation further to see what they think is going on.

I know exactly what you are talking about ...about the brown discard during your period, I had this sometimes... I didnt know what was going on either , or what the world it was...so I asked my older sister and she told me that she went thru that phase of her womanly cycle ...it eventually went away so that was what I thought it was a phase in your cycle. But also I have never been on any type of birth control ...but my older sister had been. ... hope this helps....but of course you should talk to your doc. about it .
