It's, lets say, Europe during WWII. You are Jewish and hiding with your friends from Nazis who are right outside the are you are hiding. You are holding a baby with a lung problem. It's parents have been captured and are definately dead. The baby is starting to cry. Any attempts to muffle the crying would mean that the baby can't get enough oxygen into it's weak lungs. You look around and see no way of stopping it from crying. If the Nazis hears you, you will definately be found and killed. In this situation, would it be okay to kill the baby?

I would sooner sacrifice myself (by decoying the Nazis away) than allow harm to come to an infant.
