...like getting up after sitting on a bus or at the movies.

Most of the time, I'm not "positioned" properly and it hurts like hell when it goes "up".

It is normal, especially for a young teen - lots of hormones.

Probably when you stand, your penis shifts and rubs against your underwear. That causes stimulation and the erection begins. Of course it gets caught half way up and there is even more stimulation.

THis happened to me all the time when I was growing up... Are you young or a teenager? It happened to me most when I was 15-18. Anyway, just (as another user said) "polish the candle a little more often" at least once per day (which is very normal) and that should all go away... He's tryin' to tell u somethin!

It looks like you"re a teenager.
Do you wear skin-tight pants or jeans ? if yes it may be because of it.
Also suggestion for the future . there are lots stuff on internet about it to be read.or you you want you can see a doctor.

your still young thats why..... try not to imagine sexy things while sitting or maybe lying down....it really causes erection.

being young is having a very active reaction on erection....
