x/3 = x/2 - 2; multply all terms by 6
2x = 3x - 12
2x + 12 = 3x
12 = x

2x = 3x -12
x = 12

isnt that a division by zero???
Supposing it is (x/2)-2

x = ((x/2)-2)*3
x = (3x/6) -6
x = 0.5x -6
0.5x = -6
x = -12
