I used to enjoy watching WWF wrestling in the 80s and early 90s.....the wrestlers were colorful, hilarious and just plain fun to watch. Wrestling today is extremely boring, crude, rude, sexist and extremely tasteless with it's porn-like visuals of the women wrestlers.......guys having no brains....everyone seems evil. These guys are boooooring!!!
I miss wrestlers in their hay day like Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre The Giant, Big John Studd, The Hulkster, Paul Orndorff, The British Bulldogs, Jimmy the SuperFly Snuka, Ivan Putski, Randy The Macho Man Savage, George The Animal Steele, King Kong Bundy, Tito Santana, Demolition, The Road Warriors, The Spoiler, Ken Patera, Brutus The Barber Beefcake, Jake The Snake Roberts, Mr. Fuji, Classy Freddy Blassy, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkov, The Bushwackers, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The JunkYard Dog, Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, Captain Lou Albano, Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart, HonkyTonk Man, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Greg the Hammer Valentine, Jesse the Body Ventura.....and I can go on and on.....
Today's wrestlers I feel aren't as interesting as most of the ones I mentioned. The closest funnest one I saw recently was Eugene. :) And I don't even know if he's still around because I simply don't watch wrestling anymore....I got fed up with the same old "Jerry Springer" feel to the WWE.
Oh yeah....my favorite wrestler was Jimmy THE SUPERFLY SNUKAAAAAAAA!!!! :) The best flying leaps in the history of wrestling!!! =)
