they seem to rise and fall depending on rothlesberger's moods and effort. when he gets involved, they can compete with anybody. they seem to lack that cohesion that championship teams must have. they put on a good show but they just go flat sometimes.
pats and cowboys are not that way. call it team spirit. steelers lack that. i think big ben has much to do about that. he must be a moody guy. maybe he is bipolar?

Wow, do you live under a rock? They're leading their division and only need 1 win to lock up a playoff berth. The Dolphins game was ugly, but did you happen to notice the turf? Nobody could have played their regular game on that quagmire. They've made the playoffs 10 times in the past 15 years and won 155 games in that span (an average of 10 per season). Plus a Super Bowl two years ago. Seems to me there are plenty of teams that would like to have that kind of success.

Pittsburgh is overrated, but they are not terrible. They got scraped by the best team in football last week, but almost everyone has been crushed by the Pats. I know the Pats had those close games to the Colts, Eagles and Ravens, but every team hasbad stretches, and the Pats survived their slump without a loss. The Pats will win out, and dethrone the '72 Dolphins as the team with the best season in NFL history. I cannot stand those arrogant '72 Dolphins, so I am pulling for the Pats. I also hope the Dolphins can go winless this season too, just to really rub it in to those '72 Dolphins. No more champaigne, Mercury. The Pats are evicting you, and sending you to the servants quarters, so pack your bags.

i wouldn't say they are bad. they are a solid team, but they cannot compete with the elite. their defense is supposedly so good, but is unable to shutdown powerfull offenses. they simply have not played enough elite teams yet. Cleveland, yes. the first game was a fluke. the second game they won. i still believe Cleveland can beat Pittsburg. they managed to beat Seattle, but Seattle has not defeated a team with a winning record since Week 1, and check out their schedule cause that's no lie. they had their chance against New England, but got blown out. however, their record speaks for itself. being 9-4 is not bad. that is solid. the Steelers are a good team. their defense is slightly overrated, but their team is still solid. they are good enough to be a threat in the playoffs, but not a team to count on to win the Super Bowl this year.

well, I don't think they suck, they are just over hyped and haven't been playing as everyone states they are doing. The steelers have had games this season that made me really doubt them being a legit team but they've also have had some good wins.
I don't see them going deep in the playoffs.

R U KIDDING ME? What does a 9-4 record tell about a football team. They don't suck. The field for the Miami game was crap. How can you say this?

i dont know
they are 4-1 against teams with winning records this season but none of them a big name 2 wins against the browns and one against the bills, seahawks. the seahawks in my opinion is their only notable win for them this entire season! so sure they are overrated but i think they are ok but defiantly not what their record suggest. i think this team can easily lose in the first game of the playoffs.
i can also bet they are going to lose against the jags

because roethlisberger is terrible.....they got the number ranked defense but the pats got 38 points on them. when the pats played colts they only got 24 points....so the steelers are just horrible and have so many holes in their whole team...there good run defense and there good running game just cant make up for their crap.....
