i am a 10th grader in high school and i am 5' 3"
i wear high heels sometimes to look taller, but is that too dressy for high school? any other ideas on how to appear taller?

pointy shoes with long pants elongates the leg, kitten heels will make u taller and create the illusion of height ;-) or put risers in ur sneakers, that what ALOT of kids do.

i think that is ok to wear high heels to school because that will make you look beautiful and you wil have all the attention. High heels are dressy but you are going to look so beautiful if you combine with the right clothes.

if you have a cute pair of not to dressy heels take a chance! wear them! if no one else is wearing heels just get a wicked cute sneaker or boot with like even an inch. you dont wanna be wicked tall!

Yeah, it is fine to wear high heels to school. I see many girls at my school do it all the time. In fact, there's a girl at my school who wears them EVERY day. I don't know how she does it...my feet would be killing me.
But you should wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

i think it would be OK....but not the best choice. you might want to try boots intead of fancy heels. i say that because most of the high school girls in my area who dress like that, look like they are dressing too old and too much like their mothers. it just looks strange and out of place. like dress up.
i never wore heels in high school or college unless i had to for an event. and I am 5'4".

yeah if you wear longer pants its fine. Don't wear short pants with heels looks wierd on a high-schooler.

high heels are in baby doll just make sure you are wearing them with the right style of jeans and stuff.

I think it's fine to wear heels to school.
I'm in high school too and alot of girls at my school wear them.
Overall:
I think you should just wear what you feel comftrable in.
