i went to look at 3000gt today. my dad pointed out that something was wet near the tranny and when i looked from underneath the car, underneath the tranny area was wet. (supposibly the tranny was rebuilt last year, it shouldnt be wet then) i also noticed 3 bottles of antifreeze in the back of the car. I know this could be any possible problem but if i could get a general idea of what the problem might be i would be more inclined to buy it. i dont want to spend more money fixing the car then it cost to buy it and i know tranny can get real expensive real quick... any one know of a common problem, or what the problem might be and what it would cost to fix it?

Could be anything there. Tranny leak, leaking head running coolant down back of motor, leaking head gasket letting oil do same. Leaking rear seal will show oil there too, wind blows it back on some cars when moving. Did you check the color? Repair cost depends on problem.

I have a dodge stealth which is the same car. Anything your are going to have done to that car will be expensive.
