If fighting was eliminated, my hockey spectating would decrease significantly.
If I could make one current penalty legal, I would allow goalies to trip people. Watching goalies bully players brings me more joy than anything else in hockey. I had mountains of respect for Brodeur when he gave Sean Avery a big push.

You have to fight. When you fight you are protecting your team mates from cheap hits or high sticks. Fighting is as much of the game as is checking.

I think high sticking could be more dangerous then fighting!
I would say if there is no fighting then players should be able to ice the puck, charge another player, go offside, shoot the puck over the boards, have alot of players on the ice.. etc
Fighting is part of the game leave it alone!!!!!1

How about since it's hockey they can still fight. Get rid of roughing penalties and that stupid over-the-glass and . . . etc.,etc.

Lame take-out slides. A real fun one would be making goaltender interference legal. Final score 22-18.

You can't fight, but now you can play the puck out of the trapezoid because the trapezoid is pointless.

fighting is part of the game and shouldn't be taken out
but if i had to choose it would be to allow players to hit the goalie if they come out of the crease.....i hate watching goalies take advantage of the rule
