What Age Do You Consider Old?

You're old when you lose your love of life, and you stop doing the things that keep you feeling young. I've seen some people in their 80's that still have the mobility and the zest for living. I don't consider those people old.

Age is an attitude! So, it's not a set number, but when the person feels they are old. I know some 20- and 30-year-olds who act like they are already over the hill. I also know some people in their 60s who can't seem to slow down & take it easy anymore ... to take a rest and enjoy life's simple pleasures. I'm happily in between there. Know enough when to say when & to sit and take a break (time to grab a beer and a cigarette then LOL), before going back and attacking the problem again, whatever it may be.

What age do I consider old? One or more years older than me -- hopefully I never catch up!!!

gee, a lot of "younguns" on here, eh? I'm 53. I think (if you're lucky enough to get there) that you start to feel and look a little older at about 80- at least that's the way it has gone in MY family. My mom will be 90 in a few weeks and is great in mind, but looking older the last few years after a life of looking very young . She still looks a lot younger than most people her age. My dad looked fabulous until about 85, then started aging quickly and died at 92.
