*Be a good Boy Scout,"be prepared". If you have a job. Stock up on canned foods. Ones that you can make a balanced meal from. They last longer than frozen foods. Eat them only in emergencies.
Their good for power outages,or to carry you over

Like getting off my but and going to the store. Or the kitchen. What are you asking here? We ( the USA) fed more hungry peoples as a nation than any country in history. That doesn't even mention all the free medical supplies we donate as well. For our charity we are routinely vilified around the world, and the supplies stolen by the host countries governments. We so want to aid and help the hungry, but all we get in return is greed and corruption. And yet we still give, so that at least some of it may go to the hungry.

Hungry... But after awhile you get so hungry that the feeling just goes away... I've had that happen many times before.

Like I did when I was a small child and was confronted with that problem all too frequently.
I got grumpy.
I couldn't do anything about it then and that is the BIG difference NOW.
Now I get tolerant toward the situation, patient, and plan a course of action that will resolve the problem.
Good planing has made that situation RARE these days.
