Without actually seeing them in person, I would go with the 2nd horse. You can't really tell much about the confirmation from pictures alone, but he seems to be pretty structurally sound, has plenty of muscle and is a decent size to be competitive in the QH halter pens. It also depends on what level you wish to compete at, any of these horses will probably be competitive on a local or regional level, and may get you in the placings at the bigger shows, but probably will not get you in the top 4 or 5. If you have access to someone in your area that competes in halter and is successful, you could try getting them to help you locate the perfect horse for what you are looking for. It is hard to say if any of these horses will actually work without knowing what exactly you are looking for and what your goals are. Hope this helps.

If they were in a show here is how I would place them
1, 2, 4, 3
And my reasons...
1 the QH sorrel mare over 2 the QH gelding with the star, snip and two rear socks because 1 had an over all balanced apperance and a kind eye, 2 the gelding however, had to much angle in the croup and his over all apperiance was a little choppy however considering that he is young he may grow into it. I will grant that 2 did have good straight legs.
I placed 2 the QH gelding with the star, snip and two rear socks in secod place over the 4 the QH sorrel gelding in 3rd because 2 had an over-all clean and smooth apperiance however 4 appererd to be base wide and he was also goose rumped his neck was not in porportion to his body and he did not have enough angle in his back. I will grant that 3 did have good straight legs.
I placed 4 the QH sorrel gelding in 3rd place over 3 the bay QH mare with the white sock in 4th because 4 the sorrel gelding had an over-all better apperiance and was more balanced. I placed 3 the bay QH mare in 4th place because she had to much angle in th loins and she was also goose rumped her build was very much down-hill however, I will grant that she did have a nice head with ears pricked forward and a kind eye
- hope this helps

All would be fine for halter. If that's all you're going to do and the horse doesn't have to be sound or perform later. The young colt in the last ad is hard to judge as they change all the time at that age. I am always suspicious of well muscled young horses. It means they are being worked too much for their age....this translates to no legs by the time they are 10 years old.

You need to see the horse in the flesh.
None of these owners have taken good photographs showing the horses conformation. In all but one you can't determine the length of the backs.
Besides, its also about getting on with the horse so you need to spend and hour riding each horse to see if you both gel. Horses don't always change hands flawlessly, they are temperamental animals with preferences for different people.

Though all are beautiful, making such a important decision over the Internet with such an animal is a BIG no no.
A beautiful show horse today, could be a lame kick in the butt tomorrow.

I'm not a fan of any of the breeds, but the third one is nice. I believe it might have been purchased already though. My second pick would be the first one. You have seen each of these horses in person, right? I'd would never go horse shopping online, but maybe that's just me.

The first has pretty decent conformation, though more revealing photos would be nice. Fourth one's neck is too short to be real show stuff.
