i'm 13 and i've missed me period for a little less than 1 week... am i pregnant?

Question

i'm really worried that i might be pregnant. i looked up all of the symptoms and i have a few of them such as:
-i feel nauseas at random times in the day
-i have severe pain in my stomach for about 1 minute maybe 4 times a day
-i laid in bed all day today because i have a fever of 101
-i've been feeling like crap lately
-the area around my nipple is redder than usual
-my period is a little late. like... 5-6 days

if i am pregnant, i have no clue about how i got there. i've never had sexual intercourse or anything. oh yeah, and i haven't taken a pregnancy test yet.

anyone think they can help?

p.s. i dunno, i might just be like.. paranoid.

Don't worry, you're just young and probably are still having irregular periods. Mine were irregular for the longest time, and still are occasionally.

1) I started getting really cautious around 5 and a half weeks. Before that I was really hungry as well. You may never experience the nausea though. If you do it could come at a different time for anyone. 2) You could actually have a yeast infection, pregnancy can provoke those often. I've had 2 already, it's driving me insane. 3) It is an indication of pregnancy but it is also an indication of your period starting. Tender swollen breasts are symptoms of both. 4) Feeling sick/ nauseous is definitely a sign of pregnancy but you wouldn't get it that early on. You might just be scaring yourself about pregnancy which could psychologically make you get these symptoms. 5). Take a test about 3 days after your missed period. If it turns out negative take another one. Sometimes you can get numerous negatives because your hormones are to low to detect the hormones. A blood test at a doctors office is the most accurate. If you get a positive take home test result than you are for sure pregnant. There very rarely is a false positive but it is very normal to get a false negative. good luck

Well, I really would not think you are pregnant. If you have never had sexual intercourse you are probably not pregnant. I mean there is a very rare occasion were someone could be pregnant if it was rubbed around etc. but I doubt it. I think you are sick with something. I would go see the doctor for the fever and tell the doctor your other symptoms as well. The doctor would be able to tell you what you had. Its sounds to me like you are sick. Just sick not pregnant. If you are that paranoid and it makes you feel better take a pregnancy test to make you feel better. You usually have other symptoms as well.

A fever of 101 sounds like you're sick, not pregnant! At 13 it's very common to have late periods. I think the doctor said it takes 2 years after you start to be regular, so don't worry. Redness around your nipple is probably either irritation from your clothing (like sensitivity to the material or your laundry detergent) or you're growing! If you are a virgin you definitely have nothing to worry about! You might have the flu though

You probably dont need to worry, if you havent had intercourse then there is really no way that you could be pregnant. I am not sure if your periods are regular, but when I was your age, mine weren't. There could be several factors that influence the regularity of your menstral cycle, for instance are you eating properly, or exercising excessivly? Either could make your period late, or it may just be your body acting up, cause as a woman, that tends to happen sometimes.

If you are really worried about your period being late, go talk to your doctor. But dont worry, no sex=no pregnant.

If you haven't have sex then you're not pregnant, try to go to a Doctor this is a question that none of the Yahoo Answers is your personal doctor, so instead of losing your time over here it could be better to check your health properly not as an Internet Poll.

Changes in your period can be related to stress, nutrition or else, that why is better to ask it to a professional, not to a smart**** internet crowd...

ok if you never had sex there is NO WAY your are pregnant so no need to worry about that part. I got those same symptoms a while ago but they went alone by them selves. If you get worried you can see a doctor about it. and my period is ALWAYS late so its no biggie

Since you've never had sex, then you shouldn't be thinking of getting pregnant at all. Don't worry it will definitely come, its like that when you are just starting your period. No need of doing preggy test. Good luck.

You can't become pregnant if you don't have sex or come into contact with semen.

So, you're not pregnant. Just relax and be calm. Irregular periods are very normal in 13 year olds.

if u hadnt have sex then dont worry ur still young and they maybe still irregular ive had missed peroinds far beyond 5.6 days i didnt get mine like every 3-5 months wen i was 13 -14 i still get them every once ina while but if u havent had sex then u have nothing to worry about
